Salon: Intuition and Technology

Join Asher Remy-Toledo -one the NEW INC's newest membrs- for the next Hyphen Hub Salon, we will be featuring Barbara London and Jackob Steensen.

Barbara London is a curator, writer and professor who founded the video exhibition and collection programs at the Museum of Modern Art, where she worked between 1973 and 2013. Currently she is organizing the exhibition "Seeing Sound" which Independent Curators International (ICI) will begin touring in late 2019. Her forthcoming book, Video/Art: The First Fifty Years will be published by Phaidon in January 2020.

Jakob Seensen, a former NEW INC member, uses virtual reality installations that are created with computer game software to take veiwers into a world where imagination, technology and ecology interwine. To make his work, he collaborates with scintist and artists from different fields, mos recently with composer Michael Riesman from the Philip Glass Ensemble.

Asher Remy-Toledo is the founding director of Hyphen Hub, an organization that brings toghether a global community of artists working at the intersection–and between the works–of art, design, techology and experience, with a keen focus on new and emerging techonologies.
