As part of the exhibition Sonic Arcade, curated by Shannon Stratton, Museum of Arts and Design, NYC, Sept 2017 - Feb 2018 With Knotted Gate Presence Weave, MSHR has constructed their largest environment to date: a cybernetic musical composition that uses circuitry, visitor presence and sculptural arrangement as its score. The visitor is guided along a path demarcated by a series of archways which trigger a change in the feedback system of sound and light. These archways are literal and metaphorical "gates."
