International Festival of the Image / Festival Internacional de la Imagen

Asher Remy-Toledo has been selected to curate the arts section of the 2018 Festival de la Imagen/Festival of the Image in Manizales, Colombia. Artists and specialists from the Hyphen Hub artist community will ex hibit works and take part in panel discussions and workshops.

The central theme of this year’s festival is “New Expeditions”, exploring the tools we need to observe, understand, and navigate our world’s rapidly changing landscape. Global poverty, climate change, inequality, conflict: only a creative, multidisciplinary, and inclusive approach will enable us to find routes towards creating a sustainable balance between man and nature and create an future of well-being, dignity, equity, and peace around the world.
