As part of Hyphen Hub’s Salon series, we presented Mattia Casalegno's virtual reality (VR) food tasting and panel discussion at SOHO House on August 1, 2019. The event was a great success, with many in-depth and interesting discussions taking place as well as great questions and engagement from the audience. Special thanks to SOHO House for hosting us and to all of our panelists: Mattia Casalegno; Mitchel Davis, CSO of the James Beard Foundation; Ali Bono, Senior Manager of Special Events at the Whitney Museum of American Art; and Chintan Pandya, partner and chef at Rahi Hospitality Group NY. In case you missed this sold out event, Mattia will be doing a residency at the James Beard Foundation starting this October where there will be more opportunities to try out this unforgettable experience that will change the way we relate to food.
