The Aerobanquets RMX is a multisensorial expedition encompassing sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch that was originally inspired by the Futurist Cookbook, the provocative Italian compendium of surreal recipes and fantastical dinners published in 1932. The experience takes participants on a journey that combines virtual and augmented reality, motion tacking, 3D modeling plates, food, and fantasy—a seven-course, hour-long, mind-altering art and dining experience.

Aerobanquets is reaching a new stage with the addition of Mitchell Davis, Chief Strategy Officer for the James Beard Foundation, the body that presents annual awards that are considered the “Oscars of the food world”. The project originally premiered at Chronus Art Center in Shanghai, China in the Spring of 2018, followed by Gwangju, Korea where it debuted at the International Symposium for Electronic Arts (ISEA) in June 2019. It was This particular engagement is in partnership with Chintan Pandya, the acclaimed chef at Adda Indian Canteen in Long Island City, N.Y. and Roni Mazumdar owner of Adda and Rahi restaurant in the West Village, NY.
