Berta Sichel is the director of Bureau Phi Art & Editorial Projects. She lives in Spain and works internationally. From 2000 to 2011 she was the director of the Department of Film and Video at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid.  She is the curator of the Cartagena (Colombia ) Biennial. One of her main areas of interest is media technology and gender politics.
